Just a reminder guys when buying or selling please give us a idea of where you are located. Have seen several requests lately with no mention of location.
Also had a lady send me a check the other day for a item. I remember talking to her on the phone but could not remember exactly what she was after. Tried calling phone number on the check and the phone was disconnected. I then put the check and a note asking her to call in the mail sending it to the requested delivery address, letter was returned marked no record of this person at this address. If you recognize yourself, I still have your check, it was returned in the envelope.

Had a hundred smart aleck replies running through my head, resisted typing any of them. Buggy, you are one in a thousand, an honest man. I always knew that about you and Mrs. Buggy.

I think I would let the check clear the bank before I sent any item.

Guys, I have been doing this for a long time, never had a bad check, I know there will be a first time but why let one bad apple spoil it for everyone else? Funny, I go to my local discount dept store and it takes 5 minutes for them to get all they need to accept a check. I stop at a shop in Ohio, they take my check and never even look at it even if they never have seen me before.
As I said, I have had a thousand good checks, not going to let one bad check ruin it for everyone else.
