F. Thomas Breningstall, Farrier

Tom Breningstall is a full-time farrier certified with the American Farrier Association and the Michigan Horseshoers Association. He is a past president of MHA, was active in their certification program, and now holds a seat on the board of directors. His column "Hoof & Hammer" regularly appears in Rural Heritage and has been reprinted in Canada and Australia. He is also an occasional contributor American Farriers Journal.

Tom has taught classes in horse hoof care to 4-H groups, high school equine classes, veterinary students, and farrier clinics. He co-teaches a course on hoof care at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan.

Tom and his wife Evette make their home in Fowlerville, Michigan.
